CSWP's Independent Adviser Register - 2012

The National Careers Service is managed by CSWP in the West Midlands. We will build on the excellent working relationships we have with partner agencies in order that everyone has access to the free and impartial service in venues across the region.

Our Independent Advisers will be required to work in established venues to cover for sickness absence and annual leave. They will take group work sessions as well as pre-arranged appointments and ad-hoc interviews in Job Centres, libraries or any other partner agency venue.

Independent Advisers are paid a base rate of pay, plus mileage, plus a rate for each claimable action plan. You could earn £115 per day with potential to increase this with additional claimable action plans.

To join our Register you must have a Diploma in Careers Guidance or NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance and a current enhanced CRB. Workshops will be arranged for you to complete CRM and POVA training before being allocated work.

Talent Match is a project funded by the BIG Lottery to support young people aged 18-24 who may have been out of work for 12 months plus....

The project aims to help those most affected by unemployment to enter work, training or self employment / enterprise.

We are seeking providers to deliver support packages for the Talent Match Programme.
