Parent/carer
Supporting your child to succeed
Parents and carers play an important role in supporting their children through the choices they have to make about the future.
Our advisers can support you with this. Our advisers are based in most schools throughout Coventry and Warwickshire and offer free information, advice and guidance for young people aged 13 to 19 to help them make decisions and choices in their lives. We also support young people up to the age of 25 who have a learning difficulty or disability.
CSWP provides impartial information, advice, guidance on education, employment and training.
CSWP advisers that are based in schools across Coventry and Warwickshire can offer advice to parents. Please contact the adviser who is based in your School, or alternatively ask your school’s careers co-ordinator or Head of Year for information.
Alternatively, free online support is available through Directgov. You can contact a careers adviser by telephone, webchat, email or text message. Call: 0800 100 900 (8am to 10pm every day).
Young people can also use Route 14-19 to find information on courses and training across in Coventry and Warwickshire.
If you are an adult seeking careers information and advice for yourself, CSWP can provide this service for you. If you are aged 19 and over (or aged 18 and registered with the Jobcentre or in custody) this service is free and available through National Careers Service, the adult careers service. Call us on 024 7670 7400 to book an appointment today.
